Saint-Germain des Pres and Musee d’Orsay

We slowed the pace down on the 31st and June 1st. On the 31st, we took the Metro over to Saint-Germain des Prés, a scenic neighborhood. We had lunch at “Les Deux Magot”, a restaurant frequently attended by Ernest Hemmingway and Gertrude Stein in the past. Kathy and I first saw this place on our honeymoon 31 years ago. The next day was spent at our favorite art museum, the Musee d’Orsay, a converted railway station with three floors of the best impressionist art in the world. It is an incedible place.
